Job summary

Oceanview Nuring and Rehabilitation Center in Far Rockaway, NY is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care on the All shift.

Responsibilities include observing residents, assisting with personal hygiene, meal setup, and documenting intake while maintaining confidentiality. Must be able to work every other weekend and be COVID-19 vaccinated. Competitive hourly pay and union benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS CNA certification and be in good standing.
• Ability to work as part of a team and weekends.
• COVID-19 vaccinated as per facility policy.

• Observe residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplementation as needed.
• Make beds and keep resident spaces tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility and turn bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

Oceanview Nuring and Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to work the All shift Shiftfor our Skilled Nursing Facility in Far Rockaway, NY.

SALARY: $22-25/hr Union benifits

MUST WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND !

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Must be able to work weekends
• Current NY State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
• COVID-19 VACCINATED
