Job summary

Walla Walla Veterans Home, part of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, is hiring a Nursing Assistant Certified for a 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. swing shift, Friday through Sunday.

This on-site position provides compassionate care to veterans in a homelike setting. Qualified candidates must hold a WA CNA license, have an active OBRA registry, and be proficient in English. The role requires passing a background check and TB screening; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Washington NAC license.
• Active OBRA Registry status.
• Proficient in English (read, write, speak).
• Must pass background check and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering nursing and related care.
• Participate in the resident care plan and activities of daily living.
• Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and document intake/output as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident spaces.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under RN supervision.
