Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North in Tulare, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home.

As a Home Care Aide, you will provide personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and meaningful companionship following care plans and safety guidelines.

We offer flexible shifts including day, evening, and weekend options, plus onboarding and mentoring to help you grow in this caring career.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification required or employer assistance available
• Background check completed within the last year
• Negative TB skin test within 2 years
• Two professional references

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises as appropriate
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
