Job summary

Heritage Woods of Yorkville in Yorkville, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time 2nd shift to deliver individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.

You will assist with activities of daily living, communicate with residents and families, document health status changes, and participate in ongoing training. Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to serve with dignity are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.50 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
