Job summary

Boys Town seeks a versatile receptionist/CNA to support patient care and unit operations in Omaha, NE. You will greet families, handle calls, assist RNs with rooming patients, and help manage supplies and documentation within the unit.

Responsibilities include chart preparation, basic nursing tasks, and coordinating with departments to ensure readiness for admissions and transfers, while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified and BLS certified.
• Experience using multiple computer systems (e.g. Microsoft, EHR).
• Minimum 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct patients’ families; answer calls and questions.
• Scan patient charts and manage electronic documents.
• Assist RN and nursing staff with rooming patients and vital signs.
• Coordinate supplies, carts, and equipment; order galley and office supplies.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge workflows with accuracy.
