Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across admission, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will collaborate with the health care team to assess, plan, and discharge patients while educating families and maintaining Joint Commission standards.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS within six months of hire, with preferred Bachelor's in nursing and acute hospital experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification; ACLS within six months of hire.
• PALS certification within six months of hire; EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission physical, cognitive, spiritual, psychosocial and functional assessments.
• Formulate and revise plans of care and discharge planning.
• Document using nursing process and report to health care team.
• Educate patients and families and respond to emergencies promptly.
