Job summary

Haven Nursing Center is seeking a Transportation Driver/CNA to transport residents to medical appointments and provide direct care within the facility. A Louisiana CNA certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.

The role involves transporting residents to physician offices, hospitals, and clinics, assisting nursing staff, and performing CNA duties as needed. Schedule is primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana CNA certification and active CPR certification may be required.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, move and assist residents safely and operate a passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to medical appointments safely and on time.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide resident care within CNA scope.
• Maintain vehicle documentation, logs, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
