Job summary

Atrium Centers Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation & Assisted Living Community is seeking a Transport Driver/CNA to support residents with transportation to appointments and hands‑on care on the floor. You will split duties between CNA tasks and driving, contributing to resident wellbeing and safety.

Qualified candidates must hold a completed CNA course and an active state license, be 25 or older, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA course and active state license.
• Strong communication skills and service mindset.
• Must be at least 25 years old and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and provide transportation for residents to and from appointments.
• Assist residents safely during transport and appointments.
• Drive center van (similar in size to a minivan) and transport up to two patients at a time.
• Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving.
• Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety.
• Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation, including vitals.
• Report violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately.

What You Bring

• Completed CNA course and active state license
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Clean driving record

• Medical Records experience in a long-term care setting (preferred)
• ART certification (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
• Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance
