Job summary

Atrium Centers Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Transport Driver/CNA to support residents and transport them to appointments. This 100% employee‑owned organization emphasizes hands‑on care and quality of life in a long‑term care setting.

Ideal candidates are STNA certified with an active license, 25+ years old, and with a clean driving record. You’ll split time between floor CNA duties and driving, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• STNA certification and active state license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills when documenting resident care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and/or provide transportation for residents to and from appointments.
• Assist residents safely during transport and appointments.
• Drive center van and transport up to two patients at a time.
• Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving.
• Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety.
• Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation, including vitals.
• Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately.

What You Bring

• Completed STNA course and active state license

• Must be 25 years of age or older

• Clean driving record

• High school diploma or GED

• Medical Records experience in a long‑term care setting (preferred)

• ART certification (preferred)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

• Positive, can‑do attitude and excellent attendance
