Job summary

Atrium Centers in Ironwood, MI is seeking a Transport Driver/CNA to help residents access care and provide hands-on support across duties.

In this 50/50 role, you will split CNA tasks and driving, ensuring safe transports and accurate recordkeeping per the Care Plan.

Candidates must be a certified CNA with a state license, be 25+, and have a clean driving record; ART certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA course and active state license.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ART certification (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and/or provide transportation for residents to and from appointments.
• Assist residents safely during transport and appointments.
• Drive center van (similar in size to a minivan).
• Transport a maximum of two patients at a time.
• Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving.
• Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety.
• Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete required documentation, including vitals.
• Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately.

What You Bring
