Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a dedicated Transportation Aide – CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while providing attentive care.

You will assist with mobility, monitor vitals when needed, and support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents. This role requires a valid license, clean driving record, and Texas CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old (for insurance requirements).
• Has a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Can pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Completes the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Is comfortable with both caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely Transport Residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe changes in residents' condition during transport and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with mobility using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vitals when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
