Job summary

Whisperwood Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide - CNA to safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapies and activities, while providing attentive care.

You will monitor safety, assist with mobility and transfers, observe residents' condition, and support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas CNA certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be 25 years old or older for insurance requirements.
• Pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities.
• Ensure resident comfort and monitor safety during transport.
• Observe changes in residents' condition during transport and report concerns.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Monitor vital signs when needed during transport.
• Support CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.
