Evercare of Granite City is seeking a Transportation Aide with CNA certification to support residents during transport to medical appointments and activities. You will assist with personal care, ensure safety, and help with care plans under supervision.

The role requires a CNA credential, a high school diploma, good communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistive devices as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
• Provide transportation assistance to and from medical appointments, social events, and other activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident transportation and care provided.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with our facility's standards.
