Job summary

PruittHealth Coastal Central is seeking a CNA - Transportation Aide to safely transport patients to appointments and therapies, assist with ADLs, and provide friendly, respectful service across all transport interactions.

You will complete transport logs, mileage records, and schedules on time, uphold cleanliness and safety of vehicles, and work closely with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.
• Valid driver's license with clean MV record; pre-employment check.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation.
• Familiarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and approved outings
• Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniques
• Deliver hands-on CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactions
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies
• Partner closely with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations
