Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred hospital and telemetry experience.
• Current Louisiana CNA certification is required.
• BLS and CPI certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
• Provides care based on patient age groups and safety criteria.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient-related tasks.
• Adapts approach to the specific patient population and obtains permissions as needed.
