Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our skilled nursing team in St. Clair.

This non-certified caregiver role offers on-the-job training and room for growth while supporting residents with daily activities and personal care. You will work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team in a home-like environment, providing dignified care and documenting activities while following state guidelines.

Qualifications

• No certification or prior healthcare experience required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to pursue CNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, dressing, toileting, meals, and mobility.
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Accurately document care provided as trained.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment.
• Offer courteous support to residents, families, and visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and care team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, care plans, and facility policies.
