Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant (non-certified) to join our skilled nursing team. Training is provided and prior certification isn’t required, making it accessible for individuals starting a healthcare career.

You’ll care for residents directly, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within a home-like setting. We value empathy, reliability, and a desire to grow in senior care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required training and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, toileting, meals, and mobility
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Accurately document care provided as trained
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment
• Offer courteous support to residents, families, and visitors
• Work collaboratively with nursing and care team members
• Follow all safety procedures, care plans, and facility policies
