Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Nursing Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing team. This non-certified caregiver role is ideal for individuals starting a career in healthcare — no prior certification required.

We provide training to help you succeed. You’ll care for residents with dignity in a home-like environment and work as part of an interdisciplinary team, following state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required training and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, dressing, toileting, meals, and mobility.
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Accurately document care provided as trained.
• Maintain a clean, safe, home-like environment.
• Offer courteous support to residents, families, and visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and care team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, care plans, and facility policies.
