Essentia Health is offering a no-cost Certified Nursing Assistant training opportunity at Northern Pines Care Center in Minnesota. This 0.6–0.9 FTE Flex position pays $15.00/hour during training and continues with CNA pay once certified.

You will gain hands-on patient care experience while earning income and advancing toward certification. The program covers education and exam costs, with comprehensive benefits and tuition reimbursement as part of Essentia Health's commitment to staff

Qualifications

• No education required and training provided through the program.
• Flex position (0.6-0.9), 24-36 hours per week.
• Must successfully complete facility required training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed professionals with personal care tasks per care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized environment for residents.
• Assist with meal setup, water pass, and basic personal care needs.
• Provide activities and exercise opportunities as assigned.
• Support residents with psychosocial needs and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
