Job summary

Valley Health System is recruiting a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for third shift to support patient care at Winchester facilities. The CNA assists with routine personal care under RN/LPN supervision, maintains safety, and reports issues while upholding Valley Health’s care standards.

Required CNA certification and BLS, with a preference for a high school diploma. Opportunities to precept new CNAs as you gain experience are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients under supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems promptly.
• Support the mission and vision of Valley Health System.
• May act as a preceptor for orientation of new CNAs once experienced.
