Valley Health's Winchester Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for the Nursing Float – 206019. The role is regular full-time on the Third Shift, with a pay range of $18.59 to $24.16 per hour.

The CNA provides routine personal care, maintains a safe environment, and may precept new CNAs as you gain experience. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA registry in VA/ WV; BLS certification required before orientation.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.
• Must be listed on the relevant Registry of the Board of Nursing as CNA in Virginia and/or West Virginia.
• BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to orientation.
• Must understand basic principles of human growth and development.
• Must interact with patients according to age-related needs.
• Must have reliable phone communication with hospital.
• Annual flu vaccination required if employed in Long-Term Care areas.

• The CNA, under supervision, performs routine personal care duties for patients.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems.
• Supports the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
• May act as a preceptor in the orientation of new CNAs.
