Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a CNA to join Winchester Medical Center on the third shift, performing routine personal care duties and maintaining safety. You will report to a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse and contribute to exceptional patient care.

With experience you may act as a preceptor for new CNAs. Required: High School Diploma and CNA registry, BLS certification prior to orientation, and readiness to work in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must understand basic principles of human growth and development.
• Must be competent to interact with patients according to their age and needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems.
• May act as a preceptor in the orientation of new CNAs.
