Job summary

Valley Health's Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the full-time night shift in the Medical Innovation Unit. You will assist with routine patient care under RN/LPN supervision and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families.

The role requires a Virginia (and possibly West Virginia) CNA registry listing and BLS certification prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required in VA and/or WV depending on location.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation (AHA Healthcare Provider).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients under supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems promptly.
• Support the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
• May act as a preceptor for new CNAs after gaining experience.
