Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float department to cover the third shift at Winchester facilities. The CNA will assist with routine patient care under supervision, ensuring safety and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Understands basic principles of human growth and development.
• Able to interact with patients according to age and needs.
• Reliable phone communication with hospital is required.
• Annual flu vaccination is required or provided by Valley Health for applicable roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care to patients under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and report problems.
• May act as a preceptor for orientation of new CNAs when experienced.
