Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support patients at the Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, you will provide routine personal care and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

This full-time role requires a VA/WV CNA registry, BLS certification, and a high school diploma preferred. You may become a preceptor for CNA orientation after gaining experience, contributing to a team that values

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• VA/WV CNA registry required; must be listed as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia and/or West Virginia based on work location.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required prior to orientation completion.
• Reliable phone communication with hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care to patients under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and report problems.
• May act as a preceptor in CNA orientation after gaining experience.
• Support the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
