Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a full-time STNA/CNA to join our caring team in Dayton, OH. You will be at the bedside supporting patients and families during sensitive moments and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include 75-hour STNA certification and an unrestricted nurse's aide certification, plus 3–6 months of hospice or home health experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test with 75 hours certification.
• Must be state-certified as a nurse's aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
• 3–6 months of current Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide experience required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Must demonstrate ability to learn clinical software and electronic record usage.
• Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Travel to the Dayton, OH office is required.

STNA (CNA) Full-time Schedule:

• Mondayto Friday, 8:30 AM -5:00 PM No Mandatory On Call

STNA (CNA) Full-time Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification.
• Must be certified by the state as a nurse's aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
• 3-6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
• Travel to the office located in Dayton, OH, is required.
