Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA to deliver compassionate, person-centered care in our small house neighborhood setting. You will help residents with daily activities, safety, and meaningful engagement, while enjoying a supportive team and flexible shifts.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, with increases for experience plus $3.00 second-shift differential and $1.50 third-shift differential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in Ohio; must pass state test and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting elders in getting up and going to bed
• Planning and cooking residents' meals and eating with them
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks
