Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide compassionate, person‑centered care to our residents across multiple shifts. You’ll support independence, safety, and daily activities while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

We offer on‑the‑job certification assistance, a starting pay of $18.50/hour with shift differentials, DailyPay, medical, vision and life insurance, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/STNA certification required in Ohio; must pass state test and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry; on-the-job certification assistance available.
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders.
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities.
• Engaging in meaningful activities with elders.
• Assisting elders in getting up and going to bed when they want.
• Planning and cooking residents' favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
