Job summary

Care Initiatives in Rock Rapids, IA is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for AffiniCare with flexible scheduling across multiple communities. You’ll join a quality-focused team recognized for patient excellence with a 2025 Deficiency Free Annual State Survey and 2025 Bronze Commitment to Quality Award.

Expect the ability to choose full-time or part-time hours and travel among Care Initiatives locations within your region, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

If you are a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for a customizable schedule that best fits your personal life, this is a great opportunity for you! Prefer a full-time schedule? No problem! What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities
