Job summary

JWCH Institute, Inc in Los Angeles is seeking a CNA Supervisor to provide day-to-day administrative oversight of CNA staff, coordinate assignments, and ensure proper coverage across all shifts in the MLK Interim Housing Program.

You will support clients with ADLs, assist with meals and mobility, document care in the electronic health record, and collaborate with the Nurse Manager and care team to promote safe, respectful, client-centered services.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a health care setting, including training and support for other staff.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision for Lead CNA and CNA staff; manage workflows and schedules.
• Coordinate CNA assignments and coverage for all shifts; respond to call-outs and reassign staffing as needed.
• Attend after-hours on-call responsibilities and support problem-solving for staffing.
• Document client status and care in the electronic health record per policy.
• Assist with patient care tasks (ADLs, mobility, meals) within CNA scope.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and equipment handling per policy.
