Job summary

Wesley Health Centers - JWCH Institute, Inc. seeks a Shift Lead to supervise supportive housing services and swing-shift operations for MLK Recuperative Care Center in Los Angeles. You will coordinate with medical staff, lead life skills activities, and ensure quality documentation and care.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA with 2+ years supervisory experience, strong leadership and bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and a commitment to trauma-informed care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• CNA certification required.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory/lead role in healthcare or related setting.
• Experience with supportive housing or homeless populations preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility oversight during assigned swing shifts.
• Coordinate with medical staff for timely medical care.
• Lead Life Skills groups and activities with Case Managers.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Support QA and staff training initiatives.
• Assist in patient satisfaction improvements.
• Lead staff on proper documentation practices.
