Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA Scheduler to support the Nursing Department with staffing plans. Under the Director of Nursing, you will help create and adjust the weekly schedules to meet residents’ needs.

Responsibilities include notifying staff of shifts, managing overtime approvals, and coordinating with Nursing Administration to ensure adequate coverage. Prior experience in long-term care scheduling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license required.
• Experience in long-term care scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule.
• Notifies staff of schedule and changes.
• Receives calls and directs scheduling issues.
• Obtains approval for overtime or registry hours.
• Adjusts schedules for illnesses, vacations, and PTO.
• Collaborates with Nursing Administration daily.
• Assists with clinical management tasks as needed.
• Assists payroll with weekly nursing hours.
