Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Caregiver in San Francisco, CA to provide in-home care for seniors during a 7:30 AM–5:00 PM window. This contract-to-hire role offers a weekday day-shift schedule and potential permanent employment as the organization expands.

You will perform personal care duties, escort clients, and support independence and dignity in the comfort of clients' homes, with emphasis on safety and compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry.

Escort and assist clients based on individualized care plans.

Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.

Promote safety by following infection control procedures and proper body mechanics.

Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare team members.

Support clients in maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience with the elderly or frail population
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable providing home visits
• Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred (public transportation is acceptable)
• Comfortable with a 3–6 month contract assignment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic English communication and documentation skills
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
