Job summary

Hireology in San Francisco is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our growing team. We offer flexible weekly hours and regular fill-in shifts across local clients. Some shifts require Spanish language ability.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication reminders, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance. We value reliability, empathy, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient with clients and families.
• Ability to work one-on-one with clients and learn new skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable speaking Spanish for some shifts.
• Available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous healthcare or in-home care experience preferred (min 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic daily living support.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and manage reminders.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments or outings.
• Plan and prepare meals suitable for client needs.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shop.
• Perform light housekeeping and home safety checks.
• Report incidents promptly and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities, including feeding when needed.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

We currently have 10 Weekly Hours available! On top of this, though, we are looking for flexible caregivers who are open to filling in shifts, as we regularly have fill-in shifts at least once a week!

Here are the current schedules available:

6 Weekly Hours - Male Client in SF:

• Wednesday & Friday 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

4 Weekly Hours - Female Client in SF:

• Mondays 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
• MUST SPEAK SPANISH

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
