Job summary

Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Jenks, OK is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a specialized respiratory and tracheostomy unit. The role focuses on high-acuity care, patient dignity, and collaborative practice with an interdisciplinary team.

You will assist with ADLs, monitoring, and airway support, document vitals, and participate in therapy sessions, while ensuring safety and compassionate care for residents with complex medical needs.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, stand, and assist with resident transfers.
• Preferred LTAC/ICU or high-acuity care experience.
• Experience caring for residents with tracheostomies or respiratory support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and incontinence care.
• Deliver meals, ensure hydration, and follow aspiration precautions.
• Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and skin integrity.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion activities.
• Support physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy teams as needed.
• Provide comfort measures and maintain a safe, clean environment and timely documentation.
