Job summary

Northwest Nursing Center in Oklahoma City seeks a compassionate CNA to provide direct patient care to elderly and medically complex residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with licensed nurses to ensure comfort and dignity. The role requires strong teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety and infection-control protocols.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful and compassionate environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned.
