Job summary

The Bungalows at Riverchase is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our assisted living and memory care team.

You will work 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, Mon-Fri, with every other weekend required, reporting to the Family Experience Director or Assistant Family Experience Director. The RCA provides hands-on care and support per each resident's Personalized Service Plan while maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• Experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of RCA position.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Personalized Service Plans with families and attend plan review meetings.
• Maintain hydration schedules for residents.
• Record meal attendance and coordinate room service or dining attendance.
• Know and comply with resident rights.
• Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate.
• Check residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes.
• Use sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness and safety; address hazards.
• Assist with laundry areas and common spaces; coordinate with housekeeping when needed.
• Complete ADLs per PSP for assigned residents.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
