Luther Manor at Hillcrest in Dubuque, IA seeks a certified nursing assistant to provide routine daily nursing care on 12-hour shifts, working every other weekend and every other holiday.

You will follow resident assessments and care plans, assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, and document care as directed by supervisors. Entry level welcome; current CNA certification required; strong English communication and compassionate patient focus essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA Certification.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Entry Level (0-2 years)

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors.
• Assist residents with daily oral care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.). Assist residents with bath functions (i.e., bedbath, tub or shower bath, etc.) as directed.
• Change bed linens. Keep linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under the resident. Make beds (occupied and unoccupied).
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.

Luther Manor is currently seeking a certified nursing assistant that will work 12 hour shifts working every other weekend and every other holiday.
