Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Nursing Care Assistant (CNA) for the Progressive Care Unit. You will support RN/LPN with direct patient care, basic comfort measures, and documentation in the EMR to ensure safe, quality care.

This fast-paced unit values teamwork, clinical growth, and compassionate care. Current NA I certification with BCLS is required; prior bedside experience is preferred. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant (NA I) certification in North Carolina.
• BCLS certification must be maintained by orientation.
• Ability to perform patient care duties in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide assistance as required.
• Record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of changes.
• Administer basic care including feeding, bathing, mobility, and hygiene.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transportation of patients.
• Take and record vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Support the RN/LPN with teaching and care coordination.
