Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification.
• Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties according to CNA job code 0101, Department 6300 for HCC.
• Handles lab data collection systems and equipment for test orders.
• Identifies patients to avoid treatment errors.
• Collects blood from patients, primarily older adults.
• Processes, prepares, and distributes specimens.
• Adheres to infection control policies and procedures.
• Communicates with patients and staff, documents information accurately.
• Maintains laboratory supplies and clean work areas.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows safety regulations.
• Coordinates with lab manager on lab issues.
