Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time phlebotomist for the AM shift (2a-12:30p) at our Columbia, SC lab.

The role involves venipuncture across neonate to geriatric populations, point-of-care testing, and assisting in specimen procurement and processing services. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience; substitutions and a phlebotomy apprenticeship are acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience may be substituted by completed phlebotomy-related program or Lexington Phlebotomy Apprenticeship.
• No required certifications/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture/capillary puncture for all age groups.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity point-of-care testing.
• Collect non-blood specimens as instructed and assist the Lead Phlebotomist.
