Job summary

UHS in McAllen, TX is seeking a multi-trained Certified Nurse Assistant, Phlebotomist, EKG Technician, and Unit Secretary to join our team. The role involves supporting patient care across age groups, with on-call, weekend, and holiday responsibilities depending on shift.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Texas CNA or CPCT certification, CPI and BCLS credentials, and experience in an acute care setting. Compliance with the Code of Conduct is required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic patient care standards for all age groups.
• Basic EKG skills preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Data entry skills required, preferably Microsoft Office.
• Six (6) months or more experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must demonstrate commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Routinely maintains performance skills and adheres to all policies and procedures.
