South Texas Health System seeks a versatile healthcare assistant to perform CNA, phlebotomy, EKG tech, and unit secretary tasks within a clinical area.

You will maintain competency, handle weekend/holiday shifts, overtime, and on-call schedules, and support patient care across age groups in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have high school diploma or GED and appropriate Texas certifications; CPI and BCLS are required by policy.

Competenze

• Familiar with basic patient care standards for all age groups.
• Basic EKG skills preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Computer Data Entry skills required, preferably Microsoft Office.
• Six (6) months or more experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must demonstrate commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Mansioni

• Performs the function of a Certified Nurse Assistant, Phlebotomist, EKG Technician, and Unit Secretary.
• Maintains performance skills; remains accountable for duties.
• Routinely works weekends, holidays overtime, and/or on-call/call-back status in assigned shift.
