Job summary

The Blake at Bossier City is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to support our assisted living and memory care residents with companionship, daily living activities, and engagement.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, CNA certification preferred, CPR/First Aid preferred, and must be flexible for weekends and holidays. Experience with older adults is preferred. We offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents by providing companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Reports changes in health and completes daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership.
• Keeps residents engaged and happy through activities.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements
