Covenant Living Communities and Services in Illinois is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate daily care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. You will work under the nurse manager, delivering direct resident care and supporting activities, dining, and housekeeping in a faith-based, teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assist residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
• Bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer.
• Maintain resident rooms clean and orderly; light housekeeping, linen changes, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving and feeding.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
