Job summary

Covenant Living of Northbrook, IL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (Full Time - Days). The CNA provides direct resident care under supervision, assists with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, dining, and mobility, and supports light housekeeping and laundry.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, and an active Illinois CNA registry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support dining services and feeding of residents.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and transportation as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; keep rooms tidy.
• Notify supervisor of changes in resident condition and needs.
