Job summary

Covenant Living in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care units. You will assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services, while supporting the nurse manager and licensed nurses on duty.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completed a state-approved CNA program, and is listed on the state's CNA registry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents daily.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding of residents.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
