Qualifications

Compassionate, dependable, respectful, patient, and professional caregivers
CNA or PCA qualifications/credentials required
Personal care and activities of daily living experience
Reliable attendance and clear communication
Respect for client privacy and home
Ability to follow care plans and report changes or concerns
Experience with mobility aids is valuable

Responsibilities

Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care
Ambulation, positioning, transfers, gait belt and Hoyer lift assistance when appropriate
Meal preparation, companionship, social engagement, and light housekeeping
Transportation/accompaniment to errands and medical appointments
Medication reminders and prescribed range-of-motion assistance
Blood glucose monitoring assistance, Foley care, bed-bound care, and hospice supportive care when trained and appropriate
Follow the care plan and report changes, concerns, or safety issues
