Job summary

EverNest Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers for immediate start in Warrenton, VA. We offer supportive, values-driven roles with competitive wages and ongoing training. You’ll work one-on-one with clients, provide essential daily living help, and contribute to a compassionate care team.

Responsibilities include hygiene support, mobility aid, meal prep, and medication reminders. CNA/HHA/PCA certifications or experience enhance candidacy; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work one-on-one with clients in home settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certifications or commensurate experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and no negative criminal history.
• Willingness to work varied full-time shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility and accompany to appointments or outings.
• Prepare meals and assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients for errands.
• Perform light housekeeping and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding assistance or any other activity of daily living
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• CNA, HHA, PCA Certifications and/or commensurate work experience
• CPR/BLS/First Aid preferred
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different full time shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Negative criminal history
• Take pride in providing high quality care
