Qualifications

• Must hold a current Colorado CNA license and a BLS certification at time of hire.
• Preferred CNA experience or applicable healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort measures and responding to patient/family requests.
• Record patient care findings and data promptly; report changes and seek qualified assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a health unit coordinator as required.
• Transport medications to RN as needed on the unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Potentially assume health unit coordinator duties including phones, orders, unit records and supplies.
